Lawyer Joke #1: Lawyer's Heart
A man has a heart attack and is brought to the hospital emergency room. The doctor tells him that he will not live unless he has a heart transplant right away. Another doctor runs into the room and says, "You're in luck, two hearts just became available, so you will get to choose which one you want. One belongs to lawyer and the other to a social worker".
The man quickly responds, "The lawyer's!". The doctor says, "Wait! Don't you want to know a little about them before you make your decision?" The man says, "I already know enough. Lawyer Joke #2: Honest Lawyer
An old man was on his death bed, and wanted to be buried with his money. He called his priest, his doctor and his lawyer to his bedside. "Here's $30,000 cash to be held by each of you. I trust you to put this in my coffin when I die so I can take all my money with me."
At the funeral, each man put an envelope in the coffin. Riding away in a limousine, the priest suddenly broke into tears and confessed, "I only put $20,000 into the envelope because I needed $10,000 to repair the roof of the church."
"Well, since we're confiding in each other," said the doctor, "I only put $10,000 in the envelope because we needed a new X-ray machine for the pediatrics ward at the hospital which cost $20,000."

Lawyer Joke #3: DUI
A doctor and a lawyer got into a car accident, on a small country road. The lawyer had figured that nobody else would be on the road, and had raced through a stop sign. The doctor, on a cross street, had no time to react and couldn't have missed the lawyer if he had tried. Fortunately, neither driver was hurt.
The lawyer, seeing that the doctor was a little shaken up, helped him from his battered car and offered him a drink from a hip flask. The doctor accepted, took a deep drink, and handed the flask back to the lawyer. The lawyer held the flask for a minute or two, and gave it to the doctor again. The doctor took another swig. He again returned the flask to the lawyer, who closed it and put it away.
"Aren't you going to have a drink yourself?" asked the doctor.

Week 9 EOC: Wall Street Journal

Technically, pot remains illegal across the nation. that's the concern in the high court system. even though its pass in some states it still is an issue for all the other states that pot is illegal to posse and grow, but what is stopping the people that live in the states like Colorado to traffic the pot around.

If pot can truly make a city economy grow through the sale of pot in located stores and meet all the testing need to pass for it to be "safe at your own use" then eventually more states will follow the legal right to posse pot.

Why should the law come down on recreational users if it state legal. They should be more concern on the supliers of other states that are not legal to even posse the plant let alone smoke it.

1. How can designers protect themselves

Week 7 EOC: Progress Towards Finding A Lawyer

My progress towards finding a business lawyer to answer my questions is taking a look on line key word Nevada lawyers to see what type of list i can come up with.

Week 4 EOC: Edward Snowden

On the legal side of this situation I agree that Edward Snowden should be punish for breaking his contract with the NSA and leaking the information about the U.S. government. "I'm willing to sacrifice all of that because I can't in good conscience allow the U.S. government to destroy privacy, Internet freedom and basic liberties for people around the world with this massive surveillance machine they're secretly building." On the other hand why should the U.S. Government have the right to tap into the citizen privacy with out their knowledge, even though they may say its for the protection of the people why should we feel that we are no longer free to whi,e on the internet or even on our phone.

"This issue is readily reduced to the conflict between liberty and privacy and security. More than once, Benjamin Franklin has been cited in connection with this case: "Those who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Snowden in my eyes is a guy that knew what was and is going on in the NSA and could not just sit back and act like things are not taking place under the people of the USA nose. Snowden him self came from a family and he most likely want to make sure they are protected and not in the blind with the US government.

Mr. Snowden thanked Russia for giving him permission to enter the country “in accordance with its laws and international obligations.” He accused the Obama administration of disregarding domestic and international law since his disclosures, but added that “in the end, the law is winning.” This makes me think in a way that every thing that Snowden has leak is in most true. Snowden knew he had to get away to another country that is and has been in-good with the USA for the most part in order to get this information out on the US government wrongdoing.

Week 3 EOC: Boston Bomber

“In the 12 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, there have been more than 25 plots to strike the United States hatched by Americans, most of which were ill-conceived or helped along by undercover operatives who, in many cases, provided their targets with weapons or other materials.”

Week 2 EOC: Stand Your Ground

“Normally, a citizen has a duty to retreat when confronted with what they perceive to be deadly force. The Stand Your Ground doctrine mostly removes that, meaning citizens who feel threatened are no longer required to try to quell a situation first before having the right to use deadly force in self-defense.”

In Other Words as a citizen I and anyone has the all the right to defend there self by any means necessary even if it mean using deadly force to harm the next person or people, with out first trying to remove them self from the situation. In other words I have all the right to stand were i am no mater what is taking place at the time and if I feel my life is in danger i have the right to kill or be killed.

I to agree with this statement, yes u do have the right to stand "out side on public grounds" but if there is a chance that harm maybe brought your way. You should at less try to remove your self before taking action of self-defense "if there is the chance of doing so"

True In the "Stand Your Ground law" but should we ask our self what if a person is on school grounds K-College grounds and a parent and or student feels they needed to defined there self by taking another persons life and maybe stand buyers around to say they have "a gun on them" legal or illegal.      

Week 1 EOC: My Voice

Soshel Clothing is a statement to universally inspire people from our youth to the elderly that we are indeed a ‘social people’.  The original premise was to create an everyday casual style of clothing catered for work or play. 

Soshel Clothing is more than just a shirt; it is a way of life.  The ‘Ant’, being the logo for Soshel Clothing, represents us as people living and working together within our communities.  We participate daily at the places we shop for our necessities such as food stores.  Those who have established these companies are examples of a “Mr. or Ms. Soshel” since they are providing places for us to purchase goods needed to live our social ways of life.
